Pestun I. was born on November 25, 1975 in Kharkiv region. In 1997 – graduated with honors from the Ukrainian Academy of Pharmacy, and in 1998 – received a master’s degree from the Department of Management and Economics of Pharmacy. In 2002 – defended PhD thesis on “Optimization of medicines assortment management in pharmacy organizations”, specialty 15.00.01 – drug technology and organization of pharmacy business.
Since 2000 Pestun I. – works at the Department of Management and Marketing in National University of Pharmacy, first as Assistant (2000-2003), then Assistant Professor (2003-2011). In 2011 – defended doctoral dissertation on the topic: “Theoretical and scientific-practical principles of marketing management in the system of medical support of the population”, specialty 15.00.01 – drug technology, organization of pharmacy business and forensic pharmacy. Since September 2011 – holds the position of Professor of the Department of Pharmacy Marketing and Management.
Teaching courses: “Pharmacy Marketing and Management” (including English), “Fundamentals of Consumer Behavior in Pharmacy”, “Ethics and Deontology in Pharmacy” (for students of specialty “Pharmacy”), Pharmacy Marketing (for students of specialty “Marketing”), Marketing research in pharmacy (for students of specialty 226 “Pharmacy, industrial pharmacy”, the second master’s level), “Marketing tools of analysis of the pharmacy market” (for applicants of higher education of the third (doctor of philosophy) level)
