UDC 615.065:547.728.54.061/062]001.8 DIAGNOSTICS OF MORTAL MIANSERIN POISONINGS BY THE RESULTS OF TOXICOLOGICAL RESEARCH S.V.Bayurka, S.A.Karpushina

It has been determined that isolation of mianserin from the biological material by acidified acetonitrile (according to I.Szrzedzinski’s method) is more effective for forensic and toxicological examination than isolation by neutral acetone (by V.A.Kartashov’s method) and chloroform. Resolution of the methods in relation to mianserin was 24.8±2.4%, 11.3±1.0% and 17.7±1.5%, respectively. Detection of mianserin isolated from the biological material was carried out with the help of Thin Layer Chromatography, colour reactions, UV-spectroscopy. The necessity of the previous additional purification of the extracts obtained from concomitant admixtures has been shown. For this purpose back extraction and TLC were used. The assay of the medicine in the extracts was performed by the extraction spectrophotometry method according to the reaction of the ionic associate formation with methyl orange, the acidic azodye. Light absorption of the coloured solutions was subjected to the Bouguer-Lambert-Behr law within the range of concentrations from 10 to 200 μg of mianserin in 14 ml of the final volume. The relative error of the quantitative determination did not exceed 2.3%.
