Prof. Vyshnevska L. I. was born on February 23, 1966 in the village Podvirnoye in Novoselitsky district of the Chernivtsi region. In 1983, she finished Podvirnenska secondary school with honour, in 1990 graduated from the Kharkiv Pharmaceutical Institute in speciality “Pharmacy” and was qualified as “pharmacist”. She was directed to work at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology of Drugs, where she worked as a senior laboratory assistant, trainee teacher, assistant, associate professor. Then, she worked in the position of associate professor at the Department of Quality, Standardization and Certification of Drugs of the NUPh Institute of Pharmacy Specialists’ Qualification Improvement (IPSQI). After her doctoral thesis defending she conferred the academic title “Professor” (2010), then she worked as a Professor at the mentioned department, later as a professor at the Department of Drugs Technology. Meantime she was holding a position of deputy dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy (2000-2003).
Since 2003 and until now prof. Vyshnevska L.I. is holding a position of the Dean of Pharmaceutical Faculty №1 (Pharmaceutical Faculty №2, Pharmaceutical Faculty) of the University.
In 1996 she defended the Candidate’s dissertation “Development of composition and technology of tablets with phenol-hydrophylic drug propolis”, and in 2009 – the Doctoral dissertation “The scientific and experimental justification of the composition and technology of compound tinctures and these standardization” (academic adviser: Prof. Georgiyants VA).
In 2014-2015 she headed the Department of Chemist’s Technology of Drugs of the National University of Pharmacy, where he currently holds the position of professor.
Labor activity of L.I. Vyshnevska in the field of pharmacy is 34 years of working in various directions: training of pharmaceutical personnel, development of the composition and technology of new medicinal products based on plant substances (including homeopathic substances), validation of technology, publication of educational and methodical literature, education of youth and etc.
she is a member of the Rector’s Council of the NUPh, a member of the Specialized Academic Council D 64.605.02 in specialty 15.00.01 – “Technology of drugs, organization of pharmaceutical business and Forensic Pharmacy”, a member of the Joint Council of University’s Faculties, a member of the Central Methodical NUPh Council and a member of the cycled methodological commission of the University, a member of the approving commission of the National University of Pharmacy in a specialty 15.00.01, a member of the editorial boards of professional journals “Bulletin of Pharmacy” and “Management, Economics and Quality Assurance in Pharmacy”, one of the developers of high education standards ” Educational and Qualification Properties for Master”, “Educational and Professional Master’s Program”, branch standards of high education in Ukraine “Educational and qualification properties for Specialist”.
Prof. Vyshnevska L.I. is a member of experts on licensing and accreditation of specialties in the field of knowledge “Pharmacy”.
During the VI and VII National Congress of Pharmacists, LI Vyshnevska performed the duties of the Chairman of the commission for registration Congresses’ delegates, participants and guests.
Membership in specialized organizations:
- International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP);
- Gomeopatic Association for Ukraine.
Due to results of her work Vyshnevska L.I. was awarded with NUPh diplomas of merit, with Certificate of appreciation by the Kiev district council of Kharkov, Diplomas of Honour by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, letters of merit by the Kharkov mayor. Twice she was a diplomate of the competition “High School of Kharkiv region – the best names” in a nomination “Faculty Dean”. Vyshnevska L.I. is included to the Book of Honour of the University and is an honoured lecturer of NUPh.
Professor L.I. Vyshnevska instructs students in the disciplines «Pharmaceutical technology of drugs», «Biopharmacy» and «Basics of homeopathic technology» (for students trained in specialties “Pharmacy” and “Technology of homeopathic medicines” (for Master program students in Pharmacy specialty).
