Butko Yaroslava Olexandrivna (28.09.1979, Kharkiv) – Doctor of Pharmaceutical Science (2016), Associate professor in pharmacology department of National pharmaceutical university (2012).
Graduated from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (2001), National University of Pharmacy (2005).
Worked as: a senior laboratory (2001-2005), assistant (2005-2010), associate professor (since 2011) in Department of Pharmacology National University of Pharmacy.
In 2010 defended the thesis for a Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences scientific degree “The study of pharmacological effect of the new complex ointment with Amikacine for treatment of wound process” by the specialty 14.03.05 “Pharmacology” (scientific head: Dr. Med. Sci., Professor Drogovoz S.M.).
In 2016 defended the thesis for a Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences scientific degree “Experimental substantiation of the development of soft medicinal forms with ceramides for the treatment of inflammatory diseases of skin and wound healing process” the specialty 14.03.05 “Pharmacology” (scientific consultants: Dr. Pharm. Sci., Professor Lyapunov N. A., Dr. Med. Sci., Professor Drogovoz S.M.).
International activities: a member of the International Union of fundamental and clinical pharmacology «IUPHAR». Participated in international conferences and congresses in Ukraine, Uzbekistan, the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Russia and Belarus.
Social activities: since 2017 she is a jury member of the Ukrainian Pharmacology Olympiads; a working group for a meaningful analysis and evaluation of copyright educational and professional programs for the preparation of applicants for higher education at the second (master’s) level of higher education in the specialty 226 Pharmacy, industrial pharmacy in the field of knowledge 22 Health care; representative of the Center for Pharmacovigilance in the Kharkiv region.
Scientific School: prepared two scientific undergraduates, two PhD. Author and co-author of 184 scientific and educational works, including 4 patents (including 2 patents for invention), 4 newsletters, 2 methodical recommendations, 68 articles. Research activities connected with searching and creation of new drugs for the inflammatory skin diseases and wounds treatment, including nano-drugs. Co-author of four medicinal drugs (“Inflarax”, “panthecream”, “Komfoderm K”, “Sterocort”) produced in Ukraine and Russia.
Publishing activities: is co-author of 2 textbooks, 9 manuals.
Research activities: connected with searching and creation of new drugs for the treatment of inflammatory skin diseases and wounds, including nano-drugs. Co-author of four medicinal preparations produced by industry of Ukraine and Russia. Author and co-author of about 160 scientific and educational works, including 4 patents (including 2 invention patents), 4 newsletters, 2 methodical recommendations, 60 articles.

Public activities: a member of the Ukrainian public organization “Association of pharmacologists Ukraine”.
