On April 8, at 15:00 in the NUPh sports complex (4 Blukhera Str.) took place opening parade of the tournament. Members of the National University of Pharmacy teams – 8 teams of Ukrainian students and 8 – foreign – were greeted by the NUPh Rector. Valentin Petrovich Chernykh wished the participants success, gusto, confidence in their abilities and, of course, luck. During the grand opening panel of judges of “The NUPh Rector’s Cup” drew lots for the matches.
The first two matches were held on April 8. Game between the NUPhCollege team and Pervak ended with the score 7:1. The only goal for the team (Pervak) at the last minute scored Oleg Zinich. In the NUPhCollege team with well-aimed shots distinguished three players: Oleg Pridvorov (3 goals), Sergey Senyutin (3 goals) and Bogdan Zhurba (1 goal).
Game between the NUPh team and Altalaba with advantage of three goals ended in the victory of our Alma mater team – 6:3. Goals for Altalaba brought Yasser Khyzhazy (1 goal), Marvan (1) Khammud Khussam – 1. Among players of the NUPh team the most skilful were Youssef Aglaf (1 goal), Elmokhdi Tuti (2 goals), Benattu Anas (2 goals), Kasem Kharmash (1 goal).

Game for the 3rd and 4th place among the winners of preliminary round will take place on Wednesday, April 17. Final game – battle for 1st and 2nd place – and a grand closing parade of the open mini-football tournament among students “The NUPh Rector’s Cup” will start on Thursday, April 18 at 14.00.
