To exchange best practices and experience and within the framework of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training academic mobility program, from May 20 to 24, 2024, a visit to the University of Palermo was held by the head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry , Professor Viktoria GEORGIYANTS, Professor of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry Hanna SEVERINA and assistant of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry Halyna HRYHORIV.
During the week:
- an organizational meeting was held with the management of the University of Palermo, the main directions and possibilities of implementing joint scientific and educational projects between the National University of Pharmacy and the University of Palermo were discussed with the vice-rector prof. Fabio Mazzola;
- participants performed laboratory experiments on chemical synthesis and in silico molecular modeling (20 hours);
- they visited the laboratories and equipment of the STeBiCeF department, in particular the laboratories of biochemistry, animal biology and pharmaceutical technology (10 hours), the zoological museum, the botanical garden and the ATeN center of the University of Palermo.
For now, the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry has started a joint scientific project with Professor Barone, head of the STeBiCeF Department, in which assistant professor of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry Lidia PETRUSHOVA is involved.
