Associate Professor of the Department of Management and Economics of Pharmacy of the Institute for Advanced Training of Pharmacy Specialists of NUPh Artyukh Tetyana Olexandrivna as part of the delegation of «All-Ukrainian Pharmaceutical Chamber» participated in the Regional Conference of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (IPhF) for the European region «Delivering Primary Health Care: Pharmacists Taking the Leap Forward», which was held in Ankara (Turkey) from October 21, 2019 to October 27, 2019, with the support of the WHO and TPhA (Turkish Pharmaceutical Association).
Representatives from 37 countries of the European region have participated in the event. Artyukh T.O. engaged in controversy of the plenary meeting, the work of sections “Pharmacists Taking the Next Leap Forward with Primary Health Care” and “Unleash Pharmacists’ Potential To Meet NCD Targets by 2025”, where discussed the availability of medicines for the population in the European region of the WHO, software in the mhealth system, strategic development of pharmacy establishments, taking into account the role of the pharmaceutical worker in carrying out pharmaceutical care in non- infectious diseases, training of pharmaceutical personnel within the concept of “lifelong learning” (lll) etc.
