In March 2017, scheduled internal audits of the Quality Management System (QMS) of the NUPh were carried out in order to determine the degree of compliance of the QMS with the requirements of DSTU (State Standards of Ukraine) ISO 9001:2009 standard, as well as legislative, regulatory and internal requirements of the University

Audit is a mandatory process of the QMS of the NUPh, which is systematically held for several years already, but the auditors focused on the activity of the Departments this year.

A state of the educational process, implementation of methodological and educational work, as well as the implementation of scientific research at the Departments is checked during the audit. Auditors pay special attention to the evaluation of document circulation, the preparation and improvement of the teachers’ competence, the provision of methodological literature, the state of material equipment of the Departments, the planning and reporting processes.

Due to the audits, numerous issues on the improvement of the University management system, in particular, related to ensuring proper interconnection between subunits, improving document circulation, using effective means of communication and others, are cleared up.

The QMS audits are conducted under the direct supervision of the First Vice-Rector for scientific and pedagogical work of the NUPh – representative of the quality management Prof. A.A. Kotvitska.

The chief auditor of the QMS of the NUPh is V.O. Lebedynets, Head of the Department of Quality Management.
