Besides giving lectures in lecture-halls and master-class lectures (54 academic hours in total), the practical classes were made of top-level for students of 3rd and 5th years, speciality «Pharmacy» on the following subjects: «Pharmacognosy» and «Resource study of Herbal plants». Moreover, prof. Kislichenko V.S. took part in the International scientific-practical conference «Innovative technology in education: integration of Pharmaceutical Science into practice» and made a report «Innovative technology introduction into study on medicinal plants of Ukraine». Prof. Kislichenko V.S. participated in the round-table discussion on topic «To success through partnership and innovations» and made a presentation on the point «Educational innovations in National University of Pharmacy», prepared in assistance with Ogar Svetlana V., Head of NUPh Scientific-methodical laboratory on Pharmaceutical Education affairs. At the end of the visiting program, On December 10th,2011 a round-table discussion was scheduled on the following topic «Outcomes of implementation of the “professors visiting” program», chaired by prof. Dathaev Ubaidulla Mahambetovich, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy. On behalf of the Rector Council ofKazakhNationalMedicalUniversity prof. In 2011 in the University was introduced differentiated remuneration for teaching staff labour. Third year running the best lecturers from different Faculties are awarded memorials and bonuses ($1 = 142 tenge).

Centre for practical skills development (CPS) was created on basis of the University with the following subdivisions in its structure: 1 – Centre for medical simulation; 2 – Centre for pharmaceutical skills; 3 – Centre for communicative skills; 4 – Centre for dental skills; 5 – Centre for independent assessment of knowledge and skills; 6 – Centre for Medicine of Disasters, Department of Instrumental Functional Diagnostics. The major tasks of the Centre activity are practical skills presentation by the instrumentality of modern models, simulators, clinical situations modeling with full-measured interactive mannequins, training of communicative skills with help of standardized patients, learning by means of modern diagnostic, medical and production equipment, and also by means of virtual computer games.

State Examinations for students of Medical Faculty on basis of the Centre for medical simulation. Students work with sick people in simulation wards, and tutorials observe their success by displays.
On basis of the Bahyi Atchabarov Scientific Research Institute of Fundamental and Applied Medicine the Scientific Educational Laboratory (SEL) was created and is functioning successfully. The laboratory consists of clinical diagnostical, molecular genetic, biochemical, sanitary hygienic immunologic units and laboratory for pharmaceutical research, supplied with the modern equipment by famous world manufacturers, and high-skilled personnel. The Scientific Educational Laboratory (SEL) provides training for development particular cognizance in all subjects. SEL ensures improvement of specialists’ qualification in terms of cycles «Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics» and «Immune-enzyme analyses» for appropriate specialization Departments.
Viarium, equipped according to GLP requirements on basis of the Bahyi Atchabarov Scientific Research Institute of Fundamental and Applied Medicine, is subordinated to the Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University. The Vivarium functions as an experimental base for scientific researches in terms of projects of science and for practical training. It is also a base for reproduction of experimental animals’ population.
