On October 21, 2022, representatives of the National University of Pharmacy took part in the scientific conference “Contemporary Pharmacy: Issues Challenges and Expectations 2022”

On October 21, 2022, the head of the Pharmaceutical Chemistry  Department, Professor Viktoriya Georgiants, Associate Professor of the Pharmaceutical Chemistry  Department, Dr.  Olha Mykhailenko, Associate Professors of Industrial Technology of Drugs Department  Dr. Nataliya Gerbina and Dr. Yuliya Maslii took part in the scientific conference “Contemporary Pharmacy: Issues Challenges and Expectations 2022” at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU), on the occasion of the centenary of the University of Lithuania (1922-2022) and Alfonsas Kaikaris (1922-1997), creator and founder of the Museum of the History of Medicine and Pharmacy of Lithuania in the city of Kaunas.

In addition, the conference was attended by representatives of the Department of Plant Technology of Medicines. During the plenary session, reports of leading scientists from Lithuania, England, Spain, Poland, etc. were heard in three scientific areas: modern phytochemical research, drug technology and social pharmacy, and the history of pharmacy.
