On November 4-8, 2013, head of the Department of Chemistry of Natural Compounds prof. Kislichenko V.S. and head of the Department of Industrial Pharmacy, D.Sc. in Pharmacy, prof. Gladukh Ye.V. participated in the scientific and practical conference ” Topical questions of education, science and production in pharmacy”, lectures, workshops for students, undergraduate and post graduate students, which took place in Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute.
Professor Kislichenko V.S. reported at the breakout session on “Legislative regulation of the sales of dietary supplements, special and functional foods. Questions of quality control” ( section 1 ), delivered a master class lecture to the students of advanced professional training course on the following topics: “Creation of a new section “Dietary Supplements” in the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine”, “Modern methods of analysis in the quality control of plant material in the manufacture of herbal teas and biologically active supplements”, “Creation of new herbal medicines and dietary supplements in the NUPh”, “Development, validation of the methods of quality control, manufacturing application and registration”, “Industry experts for the market of nutritional supplements and skin care products in the figures and CVs”.
Professor Gladukh Ye.V. reported at the plenary session on “Good practices of Pharmaceutical Education” and the breakout session on “The use of hydrocolloids in the production of gels” (section 6), and gave a master class lecture to the students of advanced professional training course on the topics: “Risk management in the pharmaceutical industry”, “The role and functions of the Authorized Person of the pharmaceutical enterprise” and “Documentation system of pharmaceutical company”.
On 04.11.2013, head of the Department of Commodity Science, D.Sc. in Pharmacy, prof. Baranova I.I. reported on “Modern gelling agents and their administration details in the development of cosmetics and topical medications” (section 6) and on 05.11.2013 – on “Containers, closures and capping materials for cosmetics” (section 6). In the frame work of the visit, prof. Baranova I.I. gave two lectures to 4th and 5th course students.
During the visit of the NUPh delegation to Tashkent pharmacy there were held meetings with: the rector of Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute, professor Yunuskhodzhayev A.N. and vice-rector for scientific work Tulyaganov R.T., employees of the Department of Pharmacognosy (head of the Department prof. Urmanova F.F.) and Department of Technology of Dosage Forms (head of the Department prof. Makhmudzhanova K.S.). There were discussed the the conditions of further cooperation with the Departments of Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute on the subject of joint research activities, joint scientific articles and scientific-methodological literature.
