On November 6, 2024, the eighth regional seminar ‘Current state of the quality assurance system of higher education in Ukraine: challenges and prospects’ was held in Kharkiv

ON NOVEMBER 6, 2024, THE EIGHTH REGIONAL SEMINAR ‘CURRENT STATE OF THE QUALITY ASSURANCE SYSTEM OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN UKRAINE: CHALLENGES AND PROSPECTS’ WAS HELD IN KHARKIV, ORGANIZED BY THE NATIONAL AGENCY FOR QUALITY ASSURANCE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF PHARMACY.
About 100 educators and scientists participated in the seminar, including management, guarantors of educational programs, managers and employees of departments responsible for the internal system of ensuring the quality of higher education of 25 higher education institutions.


Alla KOTVITSKA, NUPh Acting Rector, addressed those present with welcoming words, as well as Ivan NAZAROV, deputy head of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education.


The seminar was devoted to topical issues of the quality assurance system of higher education in Ukraine. The speakers of the seminar were the deputy heads of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education Ivan NAZAROV and Bohdan MORKLYANIK and the head of the Secretariat of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education Oleksandr KHYMENKO. They reviewed in detail the new Regulation on the accreditation of educational programs, according to which students are trained, the issue of post-accreditation monitoring and changes in appealing decisions of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education. Also, serious attention was paid to the standards of higher education. At the end, there was an open discussion of the participants of the seminar and a discussion of topical issues of the system of quality assurance of higher education.

The event became an important step in strengthening the quality of higher education in Ukraine and its adaptation to European standards.
