On October 18, 2021, the International Scientific and Practical Symposium “100 Years of Success and Quality” was held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry

On October 18, the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry of the NUPh organized and held the International Scientific and Practical Symposium “100 Years of Success and Quality”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the department. Scientists from different countries of the world – Great Britain, Lithuania, Cyprus, Serbia, Turkey, Egypt, Taiwan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan took part in the symposium.

In total, the event was attended by about 25 foreign scientists and 70 scientists from Ukraine.

The work of the symposium included two parallel sections: a scientific discussion “Prospects for the development of pharmaceutical chemistry” and a scientific and practical discussion on the introduction of monographs in the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine on medicines manufactured in pharmacies. Key speakers who made reports at a scientific discussion on modern trends in the development of pharmaceutical chemistry: Prof. Williams Gareth (London, GB), Prof. Boshkayeva Lailya (Almaty, Kazakhstan), Prof. Ivanauskas Liudas (Kaunas, Lithuania), Prof. Kaplaushenko Andriy (Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine), Prof. Kovalenko Sergiy I. (Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine), Prof. Kovalenko Sergiy M. (Kharkiv, Ukraine), Dr. Shyshkina Svitlana (Kharkiv, Ukraine), Prof. Zhuravel Iryna (Kharkiv, Ukraine), Dr. Zubkov Vadim (Kharkiv, Ukraine).

On the website of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, lectures by virtual speakers were presented:Manos C. Vlasiou (Nicosia, Cyprus), Perekhoda Lina (Kharkiv, Ukraine), Arslan Idris (Zonguldak, Turkey).
