The III International Conference for International Students “Ukraine and the World: Educational and Cultural Framework” was held on 14 May 2021

This year, the Pre-University Department is teaching in Ukrainian for the first time, with more than 30 foreign students choosing it as the language of their future profession in their first year.

The first steps towards independent scientific research taken by our students show a high level of language training and a real interest in their future profession.

The III International Conference for International Students “Ukraine and the World: Educational and Cultural Framework”, which was held on 14 May in Kiev and took place online, was attended by 83 students from 11 Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions.

The following honorary guests were also invited to participate: Andriy Vitrenko, Deputy Minister for European Integration of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Maati Maasikas, Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, Toyli Atayev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Ukraine, Taras Kremniy, State Language Commissioner, Olena Shapovalova, Director of USCIE, Volodymyr Sheiko, General Director of the Institute of Ukraine, Tetyana Filevska, Creative Director of Institute of Ukraine, Dialo Issa Sadio, President of the African Council in Ukraine and others.

The National University of Pharmacy was represented in 5 sections by first- and third-year students from the Faculty for Foreign Citizens’ Education and the Pre-University Education Department, who were trained by professors from the Fundamental and Language Training Department.

Prof. Natalia Lysenko), Dzota Helena Asna and Umaima Buhafa (report “National traditions of the peoples of the Congo and Morocco “, scientific consultants – teachers Oksana Latysheva and Tatiana Chernigova), Adilova Dzhiverzat (report” On the importance of studying and preserving the languages ​​of Dagestan “, scientific consultant – Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. Tatiana Sukhanova) willingly participated in discussions and justification defended their opinion. The high scientific level and language competence of our speakers was noted by the organizers of the conference – the teaching staff of Kyiv National University. T.G. Shevchenko.

All participants received certificates and proposals for further cooperation.
