The cardioprotective action of the combination of quercetine with the derivatives of glucosamine has been studied in the comparative aspect with its active monocomponents – the mixture of aminosugars and quercetine – on the model of doxorubicine cardiomyopathy in rats. Cardioprotective properties of the combination studied under the conditions of doxorubicine cardiomyopathy development have conditioned the presence of complex influence of this medicine on the course of the cardiopathy under research, and it is related with the presence of antiproliferative, anti-oxidative, anti-ischemic, membrane-stabilizing and anabolic activity. The normalizing effect of the combination on biochemical parameters in rats – the level of AST, LDH and endogenous N-acetylglucosamine has been shown. The anti-inflammatory and cardioprotective activities of the combination of quercetine with derivatives of glucosamine confirmed experimentally creates pre-conditions for its subsequent study as an anti-inflammatory and cardioprotective medicine for application in complex therapy of patients with inflammatory-destructive myocardium diseases.
