UDC 615.1/2:33(075.8) CLINICAL AND ECONOMIC ANALYSIS OF THE CHRONICAL HEART FAILURE PHARMACOTHERAPY IN THE MEDICAL PREVENTIVE INSTITUTION О.Ya.Mishchenko, T.S.Sakharova, I.V.Chinush

The results of clinical and economic analysis of the chronical heart failure (ChHF) pharmacotherapy in the medical preventive institution are given. АВС-, VEN- and frequency analyses have been used. It has been found that pharmacotherapy of ChHF is mainly conducted in accordance with the normative documents of the МPH of Ukraine since vital medicines are 80% of all prescriptions. The comparison of the results of VEN-analysis and frequency analysis testifies that «V» category (vital) medicines predominate by the frequency of their prescription, and 20% are the medicines of «N» category. The considerable part of costs is spent for metabolic medicines with the low level of evidence for НF treatment. By the frequency of prescription (TOP-10) the leaders are the medicines of nosotropic therapy specified as «standard medications of ChHF pharmacotherapy» and «other cardiovascular drugs used in some groups of patients with ChHF» in the normative documents of the МPH of Ukraine. The possible ways for rationalization of heart failure pharmacotherapy and costs optimization are reduction of prescribing medicines with the low level of evidence and replacement the expensive foreign medicines to generics of domestic production in the condition of their identical efficacy.
