Mariya Vladimirovna Zarichkova was born on April 16, 1974 in the city Novokuznetsk, Kemerovo Region. In 1996 she graduated from the Ukrainian Academy of Pharmacy in specialty “Pharmacy”. In 1998, she graduated from the Ukrainian Academy of Pharmacy with a master degree in specialty “Organization and Economics of Pharmacy” with the qualification of Master of Pharmacy (diploma with honors). Since 1999 and till now she works at the Institute of Advanced Training of Pharmacy Specialists of the National University of Pharmacy: Associate Professor of the Department of Management and Economics of Pharmacy. The result of fruitful work was the defense of her thesis under the guidance of prof. Tolochko V.M. on the topic: “Improving the foreign trade activity on the domestic pharmaceutical market” (2008) and awarding the degree of a candidate of pharmaceutical sciences. In 2012 she was awarded the academic title of associate professor. In 2018, she defended her doctoral thesis on the topic: “Theoretical and methodological foundations of social protection of pharmacy specialists in modern conditions” and received a doctorate degree in pharmaceutical sciences. The areas of scientific activity are related to legislative and regulatory regulation of the social protection system for employees of pharmacies in Ukraine, the labour protection system in pharmaceutical institutions in Ukraine, improvement of social protection for pharmacy specialists by preventing their professional burnout, analyzing the modern list of social services in Ukraine and their use in the pharmaceutical industry, social protection of pharmacy specialists in the light of Ukraine’s European integration, the social vulnerability of pharmacy specialists in Ukraine as a result of precarisation; occupational risks that arise among pharmacy employees; research on the stages of formation and components of the social package as an element of additional social guarantees for pharmacy specialists
