On August 20, the National Student Forum: Education, Leadership, and Responsibility took place in the city of Irpin, Kyiv region. More than 200 students from all over Ukraine took part in it.
The Forum was held at the University of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (UDFSU) with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the University of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine and the Irpin City Council.
The forum was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence. Students had the opportunity to talk with the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhiy Shkarlet, Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine Oleksandr Kava,
General Director of the Directorate of European Integration, Budgeting and Coordination Alexander Pyzhov, Director of the Ukrainian Starter Foundation (USF) Pavel Kartashov, Irpin Mayor Oleksandr Markushin, as well as teachers and students.
The purpose of the event is to form a community of practical and responsible leaders of student government, to create a unique environment for their fruitful cooperation with the heads of higher education institutions and government agencies. Various trainings and discussions were held for effective communication between participants and speakers. The university rectors, government and business representatives were also involved.
Thanks to the forum, active members of student government at NUPh Kralin Mykita and Miroshnichenko Polina gained new knowledge and ideas that will help to improve the lives of students and implement new programs at the National University of Pharmacy.
