Center of Human Reproduction Clinic of Professor A. M. Feskov

The center is a long-term partner of the NUPh as a practice base for students in the Laboratory diagnostics educational program, specialty 224 Technologies of medical diagnostics and treatment.

On June 13, 2024, as part of the University Partner project, the delegation of the NUPh headed by Acting Rector Alla Kotvitska visited the Center for Human Reproduction Professor A. M. Feskov’s Clinic, met with the institution’s administration and employees, and got acquainted with the Center’s laboratories, including in vitro fertilization.

During the event, a round table was held with the discussion of the development of reproductive medicine in Ukraine, as well as the prospects for further cooperation between the NUPh and the Center for Human Reproduction Professor A. M. Feskov’s Clinic.

Establishment of close cooperation between the NUPh and the Center for Human Reproduction Professor A. M. Feskov’s Clinic is a vivid example of the implementation of the principles of partnership of education and practical medicine, which provides an opportunity to ensure high-quality training of specialists and to form valuable personnel potential, since the problem of diagnosis and treatment of infertility remains relevant, despite significant successes in reproductive medicine.

The demographic situation in Ukraine dictates the need to improve methods of infertility treatment. Due to a low birth rate, the problem of reproductive health protection acquires special medical and social significance.

The work of modern clinics of reproductive technologies is impossible without highly qualified specialists and, above all, without laboratory doctors, as well as biotechnologists. Today, graduates of specialty 224 Technologies of medical diagnosis and treatment, which has been trained at the NUPh since 2001, and 162 Biotechnology and bioengineering, which has been trained since 2000, are in demand on the labor market.
