From September 2, 2024, the academic mobility of the representatives of the National University of Pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Charles University (Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic) began. It was planned in accordance with the inter-university agreement signed in 2023.
According to the results of the competitive selection, Halyna Hryhoriv, an assistant at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry , was invited to the scientific group of the Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor Martin Dolezal for research within the project ‘Synthesis and research of derivatives of nitrogen-containing heterocycles as potential antimicrobial drugs’ and Alina Solovyova, an assistant at the Department of Biotechnology – to the scientific group of Dr. of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor Premysl Mladenka for research in the framework of the project ‘Influence of metabolic diseases on platelet aggregation and blood coagulation’.
During the first week, an organizational meeting was held with the dean of Charles University, Jaroslav Roh, the main directions and possibilities of implementing joint scientific and educational projects between the NUPh and Charles University were discussed, and scientific research was also started.
Academic mobility is planned for 3 months, so we wish our colleagues inspiration and expansion of scientific cooperation and further joint projects with Charles University.
