From September 1, 2024, the scholarship program of associated professor Olga Mykhaylenko at Kiel University began

The German Alexander von Humboldt Foundation helps scientists who are in danger in their homeland. The Foundation promotes the development of science and research, as well as the establishment of intercultural understanding. Its scholarship was founded in 1972 and is designed to promote scientific cooperation between foreign and German scientists, to develop international and cultural dialogue between scientists of the world.

Associated Professor of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry  Olga Mykhaylenko was selected for this program. On September 1, 2024, her Georg Forster Research Fellowship for Experienced Researchers from Alexander von Humboldt Foundation at the Department of Pharmaceutical Biology Department, Kiel University, under the leadership of Professor Christian Zidorn, began.

The topic of the scientific work is: ‘Sesquiterpenoids and lignans from Italian Hypochaeris taxa: chemophenetic search for new bioactive natural products’. We congratulate Olga on the start of participation in the project and wish her inspiration and fruitful scientific results.
