On November 14, 2024, a scientific and practical seminar for the World Quality Week “Focus on Quality’ was held at the National University of Pharmacy

On November 14, 2024, the NUPh Department of Management, Marketing and Quality Assurance in Pharmacy held a scientific and practical seminar for the World Quality Week ‘Focus on Quality’.World Quality Day is celebrated annually in many countries on the second Thursday of November. This event is aimed at raising awareness of the importance of quality in all aspects of activities, which is a key factor for the successful development of companies and meeting customer needs.

The speakers of the seminar were professors and associate professors of the National University of Pharmacy.

The seminar was opened by Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Management, Marketing and Quality Assurance in Pharmacy Volodymyr MALIY. He congratulated the participants on the occasion of the World Quality Week, wishing them success in their work and new scientific achievements.

Professor of the Department of Management, Marketing and Quality Assurance in Pharmacy Tetyana KRUTSKIH delivered a report entitled ‘Adoption of International and Regional Standards as National Standards’. The speaker emphasized the importance of integrating international and regional standards into national processes to improve the quality of products and services. Such integration contributes to the development of unified approaches to quality that meet modern market requirements.

Professor of the Department of Management, Marketing and Quality Assurance in Pharmacy Svitlana KOVALENKO drew the special attention of the seminar participants to the problems of introducing innovative concepts for organizing effective quality audits. The speaker noted the importance of modern approaches to quality control and assessment, which contribute to increasing the reliability and compliance of products with international standards.

The report of Professor of the Department of Management, Marketing and Quality Assurance in Pharmacy Olga LITVINOVA was devoted to the issue of the quality of scientific publications in the context of modern challenges. She emphasized that the use of artificial intelligence in scientific research can significantly increase its effectiveness, while emphasizing the importance of adhering to ethical standards, thorough peer review, and involving specialists from various fields to ensure high quality publications.

Associate Professor of the Department of Management, Marketing, and Quality Assurance in Pharmacy Tetyana ZBOROVSKA analyzed the role of the circular economy in sustainable development and increasing the competitiveness of Ukraine. She emphasized the importance of introducing innovative technologies and strategies to optimize resource use and reduce waste.

The work of the scientific and practical seminar was held in a friendly atmosphere, contributing to the exchange of experience, new achievements, and ideas.

The seminar participants noted the importance of the presented reports and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation, sincerely thanking each other for their active participation.
