The first meeting of the Academic Council of the unique pharmaceutical university of Ukraine in 2025 was attended by honored guests – Kharkiv City Mayor Igor Terekhov and Head of the Regional Committee of the Kharkiv Regional Organization of the Trade Union of Healthcare Workers of Ukraine Alyona Blagoveshchenska.
The solemn part of the meeting included a ceremony to award university employees for conscientious, high-quality and effective work and significant achievements. The Mayor of the Hero City of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov presented honorary certificates of the Kharkiv City Council, the Executive Committee of the Kharkiv City Council and the Gratitude of the Chairman of the Kharkiv City Council. The Head of the Regional Committee of the Kharkiv Regional Organization of the Trade Union of Healthcare Workers of Ukraine Alyona Blagoveshchenska presented honorary certificates and gratitude of the Trade Union of Healthcare Workers of Ukraine and the Regional Committee of the Kharkiv Regional Organization of the Trade Union of Healthcare Workers of Ukraine. A pleasant event was the presentation of the project ‘Own Stamp’. The postage stamp, postcards and envelope, produced by JSC Ukrposhta, became a surprise and a gift from the academic community of the National University of Pharmacy on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the first academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in pharmacy, honorary citizen of Kharkiv city Valentyn Chernykh. A solemn ceremony of special redemption of the stamp ‘PERSONALITIES OF PHARMACY. ACADEMICIAN OF THE NAS OF UKRAINE VALENTYN CHERNYKH’ was held. The redemption was carried out with special stamps Serve people – do good and Hero City Kharkiv.
The procedure for redemption of the postage stamp was carried out with the participation of Kharkiv City Mayor Igor Terekhov, Head of the Regional Committee of the Kharkiv Regional Organization of the Trade Union of Healthcare Workers of Ukraine Alyona Blagoveshchenska, Acting Rector of the National University of Pharmacy Alla Kotvitska, academician of the NAS of Ukraine Valentyn Chernykh, director of network development of the Kharkiv region of JSC Ukrposhta Maryna Hulevska. This is the first postage stamp of the series ‘PERSONALITIES OF PHARMACY’.
Acting rector of the National University of Pharmacy Alla Kotvitska expressed gratitude to the honored guests for cooperation, joint projects and initiatives, for the fact that through the joint efforts of the city leadership, the regional trade union of healthcare workers of Ukraine, JSC Ukrposhta and the university community, powerful projects are being implemented that strengthen the authority of Kharkiv as a city that is a real pharmaceutical educational and scientific hub.
