DUAL FORM OF TRAINING IN PHARMACY SHOULD BE IMPLEMENTED
Within the framework of the 1st All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference PHARMACEUTICAL EDUCATION IN UKRAINE: MODERN CONFIGURATION, which was held with the support of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, on the basis of the State Enterprise State Expert Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on April 10, 2025, a round table ‘Discussion of the draft methodological recommendations on the introduction of a dual form of education at the second (master’s) level of higher education in the specialty I8 Pharmacy with specialization I8.01 Pharmacy.
The event was opened by Serhiy DUBROV, First Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor. The project was presented by the Acting Rector of the National University of Pharmacy Alla KOTVITSKA.
The draft document presented to the community was developed by the National University of Pharmacy on behalf of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, in accordance with the decision of the visiting Board of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated September 18, 2024. The introduction of dual education is one of the fundamental stages in the implementation of the project to develop ‘Strategic Directions for the Development of Pharmaceutical Education in Ukraine’.
During the discussion, the participants listened to the opinions of educators, scientists, employers, and students on the dual form of education.
Furthremore, they discussed the opportunities, prospects, and risks of implementing the dual form of education.
