ISO 9001:2015 CERTIFICATION – A GUARANTEE OF THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION AT THE NUPh
On April 16-17, 2025, the National University of Pharmacy held a scheduled Supervisory Audit of the Integrated Management System (IMS) in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard in the national certification system of the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine
The supervisory audit of the IMS of the NUPh was held in a remote online format, the inspection was conducted by representatives of the certification body LLC DKS CERTIFIC UKRAINE: the chief auditor was Oleksandr HAVRYLKO, the lead auditor was Viktor YAGODZINSKIY.
As part of the audit, a founding meeting of the heads of all processes of the NUPh ISU was held. Viktoriya KUZNETSOVA, Vice-Rector for Professional Development/Representative of the NUPh ISU, in her speech analysed the ISU of the University from the management’s side, drew attention to changes in external and internal factors regarding its main activities, emphasized the need to develop and approve the Strategic Development Plan for 2025-2029. The Vice-Rector also emphasized the importance of compliance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 Standard and focused on the main measures taken by the University staff to fulfil the requirements of ISO standards.
External auditors analysed and noted the effectiveness of the implemented processes, high qualification of employees, focus on the needs of students and stakeholders, and continuous striving to improve the quality of educational services and scientific research.
During the audit, the documentation was carefully checked, interviews were conducted with representatives of the University’s structural divisions, and the infrastructure and resources used in educational and scientific processes were assessed. The audit results confirmed that the NUPh effectively supports and develops the ISU, demonstrating its commitment to the principles of the international standard.
Oleksandr HAVRYLKO, the chief auditor of the certification body, noted at the closing meeting that the University’s management clearly demonstrates its leadership and implementation of obligations to support the functioning of the ISU. The auditors emphasized that they received evidence of effective actions taken by the University to transition to distance learning technologies during the period of martial law in the country.
No non-compliance with the established audit criteria was recorded.
According to the results of the supervisory audit, the audit team confirmed the validity of the Certificate with the expansion of the ISU boundaries to comply with the International Standard ISO 9001: 2015.
