Dear Ukrainians!
Today we celebrate the Independence Day of Ukraine in the conditions when this independence is once again being tested by war. On this day, we would like to remember about the struggle that has been going on for centuries, and the price we pay for the freedom of our country.
On August 24, 1991, Ukraine announced to the whole world about its desire to be independent. We raised a blue-yellow flag over our land. However, our struggle for freedom began much earlier. For centuries, Ukrainians fought for their right to existence, language and culture. Let’s remember the Cossacks who guarded our borders and the heroes of Krut, who gave their lives so that our people could live freely.
Today, in 2024, we defend our independence again. This struggle began in 2014 with the annexation of Crimea and the war in the east, and in February 2022 it turned into a full-scale invasion. Our soldiers are now on the front lines, fighting for every centimeter of our land, and all of us – in the rear – are doing everything possible for our Victory.
We STAND because we know the truth is on our side. We are STRONG because we remember our roots and are proud of our history. We are UNBREAKABLE because in our veins flows the blood of those who never gave up.
Happy Independence Day, Ukraine!
We fight, we win, we live!
Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!
