The National University of Pharmacy was presented by the Head of Student Self-Government – Yehor CHUFYTSKY and the Head of the Voluntary Sector – Anastasia RYZHUK.
During the meeting, a discussion was held between students of medical and pharmaceutical institutions of higher education and medical faculties (institutes) of institutions of higher education with representatives of the Ministry of Health, the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on National Health, and the Subcommittee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Higher Education.
Students had the opportunity to ask questions about the draft order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine On Amendments to Certain Regulatory Acts of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, as well as to exchange opinions, consider and project the future of medical and pharmaceutical education to lay the foundation in the direction of a healthy and prosperous Ukraine.
Based on the results of the meeting, a decision was made to send to the Ministry of Health an appeal from the Expert Council of Students of Higher Education Institutions with generalized proposals for medical students regarding the improvement of internships, and a joint decision was made to join the Expert Council of Medical and Pharmaceutical Higher Education Institutions in order to develop comprehensive proposals for improving higher medical education in Ukraine.
