On February 18, 2025, the fourth meeting-dialogue of the rector of the National University of Pharmacy with HR specialists of pharmaceutical companies took place. It was aimed to summarize the results of cooperation between the National University of Pharmacy and pharmacy chains based on the results of the 2024 admission campaign and find ways to optimize the process in 2025.

It should be noted that such meetings were introduced at the National University of Pharmacy at the initiative of the acting rector Alla Kotvitska and are held on a systematic basis. Topical issues dedicated to the problems of staffing practical pharmacy and systematic steps to solve the shortage of pharmaceutical personnel were discussed.

The event was attended by representatives of the National University of Pharmacy, the Professional College of the National University of Pharmacy, the Institute for Advanced Training of Pharmacy Specialists of the National University of Pharmacy, and leading chains of Ukraine: the pharmacy chain Pharmacy 9-1-1, the pharmacy chain Low Price Pharmacy, the pharmacy chain Wishing Health, the national pharmacy vhain Med-Service, the pharmacy chain Podorognyk, the group of companies Pharmacy of Good Day, the pharmacy family FARMACIA, LLC Liky Poltavshchyny, the Kharkiv Regional Council’s KP Regional Pharmacy Warehouse, the private enterprise Pharmacy “Slavutych, LLC Leda, LLC Pharmaceutical Company “Magnolia, LLC Rivnepharmacy, the company Koneks, and LLC Khustfarm.

Alla Kotvitska presented in her report the results of the joint admission campaign to the Professional College of the National University of Pharmacy: categories of applicants and their number, the structure of the educational process for college applicants, the system of final knowledge control, the characteristic features of pharmacy chain employees and simultaneously applicants to the Professional College of the National University of Pharmacy.

To increase the efficiency of the 2025 admission campaign of the National University of Pharmacy, a convenient mechanism for registering applicants has been created; a system for informing HR specialists about important dates of the admission campaign has been established; personal managers have been appointed to work with pharmaceutical companies regarding admission to the National University of Pharmacy and the Professional College of the National University of Pharmacy; support for each applicant during the admission campaign from preparation to enrollment in studies has been provided; the mechanism for using vouchers from the State Employment Service has been improved.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged positive experiences and discussed areas for expanding and deepening cooperation. Alla Kotvitska thanked the pharmacy chains that successfully conducted the introductory campaign and called on other participants to join the innovative project NUPh Educational Opportunities.
