On June 7, 2024, the winners of the city stage of the Young Person of the Year – 2024 Contest were awarded with the participation of Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov.
The laureate in the nomination ‘Students of institutions of higher education’ was Yehor CHUFYTSKY, a 4th-year student, EP Clinical Pharmacy, head of the Student Self-Government of the National University of Pharmacy.
This year, the competition was held in 11 nominations: Students of general secondary education institutions, Students of professional (vocational and technical) education institutions, Students of vocational pre-higher education institutions, Students (cadets) of higher education institutions, Scientific activity, Culture and art, Physical culture and sport, Activity in the non-production sphere, Activity in the field of production, entrepreneurship, Public activity, and Volunteer activity.
The mayor congratulated the youth and noted that they are the future of Kharkiv. They give impetus and set the rhythm to our city, they are caring and promising, able to achieve success and work for the good of Ukraine.
