On March 20, 2025, a meeting was held with Inna VLADYMYROVA, Professor, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, at the School of Academic Integrity. The meeting was attended by PhD students of 1–4 years (form of study: full-time, evening, part-time) and scientific supervisors.
Inna VLADYMYROVA emphasized in her report that the scientific and educational process, like any field of activity, is associated with moral and ethical aspects. They are covered by the concept of academic integrity. This is one of the basic requirements for the defence of dissertations and the publication of scientific articles. Academic integrity is based on the agreement of all participants in the academic process to adhere to the rules and fulfil the duties assigned to them. The report discussed legislative documents and guidelines that regulate the principles of academic integrity. The academic integrity system at the University and the measures implemented to promote it among students and scientific and pedagogical workers were considered.
During the meeting, postgraduate students also presented their individual reports, and attention was paid to the issue of timely defence of the dissertation within the established deadlines and personal responsibility for untimely completion of the dissertation.
