On November 18, 2024, on the occasion of International Student Day, the Mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor TEREKHOV, congratulated the students, teachers and heads of the city’s universities. During the solemn ceremony, he noted the achievements of the best students, among whom were students of the National University of Pharmacy.
The Mayor thanked the students for their tireless contribution to the development of Kharkiv even in difficult war conditions, emphasizing that the youth is the generator of change and the driving force in building the future of the city and the country. ‘Your resilience, desire for knowledge and dedication are what allow Kharkiv to move forward. Studying during war is a serious test, and I am sure that you will be able to use the knowledge you have gained for the development of the city and our state,’ said Ihor TEREKHOV.
Among the awarded NUPh students were Amira AVAD and Inna DUBINA, who received awards for their active participation in the educational and public life of the city.
In addition, the university was represented at the intellectual quiz Kahoot, in which two teams took part, Genome of Pharmacy and Irreversible Reaction. The quiz brought together 40 teams from 20 universities in Kharkiv. The questions were aimed at testing the students’ general erudition and knowledge in various fields.
This holiday became another important event that emphasizes the high level of education and intellectual activity of the youth of Kharkiv, as well as their contribution to the development of the city even in the most difficult times.
