On October 17, 2024, NUPh representatives visited a job fair organized by the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center with the support of the Kharkiv City Council and the metro.The job fair is one of the oldest ways of helping people choose a job, and helping employers find quality employees. From October 15 to 18, 2024, for four days, the Made in Kharkiv job fair was held in the lobby of the Maidan Konstitutsii metro station of the Kharkiv subway.
Traditionally, the purpose of the event was to provide visitors with information about the availability of vacant jobs in the Kharkiv region, to arouse the interest of employers in the possibility of selecting the necessary personnel. The present jobseekers had the opportunity to meet employers and get comprehensive answers to the questions. About 60 employers took part in the event.
Oleksandr KOTUKOV, director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center, Nataliya HRYN, director of the Kharkiv branch of the Employment Service, Hanna KALASHNYK, director of the Kharkiv Center for Vocational and Technical State Education of the Employment Service addressed those present with words of congratulation.
Specialists of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Service informed the visitors about the services, active support programs for employers, grant programs from the state for starting or expanding a business, opportunities for vocational training to increase competitiveness in the labor market, in particular by obtaining a voucher.
Direct communication between employers and applicants gives an effective result. It was interesting and useful for NUPh students to familiarize themselves with the current vacancies in the chosen profession and to create a CV with the help of experienced specialists of the employment service.
