Autobiography
Shpychak Oleh Serhiiovych was born in August 1, 1977, in Tsybli village, Pereyaslav Khmelnitsky village district, Kyiv region. In 1994 after finishing the Tsybli secondary school he worked for a year as a laboratory assistant of the Organic Chemistry Department at the Ukrainian Academy of Pharmacy (Kharkiv). In 1995 he entered this Academy and in 2000 graduated from the National Academy of Pharmacy. In 2001 he completed the master’s degree course with honors. His professional career started at the pharmacy № 334 in Kharkiv, simultaneously he worked at the Drug Technology Department of the National University of Pharmacy.
The period of 2001-2004 was the time of the post graduate course at the Drug Technology Department of the NUPh. In March, 2005, Shpychak O. S. defended the PhD thesis («Development of the composition and technology of a new complex natural product with antimicrobial and immunomodulating properties») in speciality 15.00.01 – Technology of Drugs, Organization of Pharmacy (the supervisor – O.I. Tikhonov, Honoured Worker of Science and Engineering of Ukraine, academician of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Pharmacy). From 2003 he worked as a teaching assistant of the Drug Technology Department, and since 2005 up to the present time as an associate professor of the same Department.
In June, 2016, Shpychak O. S. defended the thesis for a degree of Doctor of Pharmacy («The theoretical and experimental substantiation of the composition and development of the technology of apiphytomedicines for use in sports medicine») in speciality 15.00.01 – Technology of Drugs, Organization of Pharmacy and Forensic Pharmacy (doctoral advisor – O.I. Tikhonov, Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology, Honoured Worker of Science and Engineering of Ukraine, academician of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Pharmacy, Honoured Professor of the NUPh).

Honorary diploma of the National University of Pharmacy of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (2006);

SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES
Direction of the research:
«Creation of standardized biologically active substances and medicines based on bee products» (the number of state registration NSR 0114U000963).

IMPLEMENTATION
The monograph «Honey» (coauthored) has been developed and introduced to the SPhU 2.0, vol. 2, 2014. The domestic standardized substances of beekeeping products obtained by different methods of drying – natural powdered honey (NPH) and powdered honey (PH) – have been created and proposed for use in practical medicine; the project of the monograph «Powdered honey» for them has been developed and presented for introduction to the SPhU.
The amendment № 1:2013 to specifications U 01.2-020109366-001:2007 «Natural powdered honey» (conclusion of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Expertise № 05.03.02-06/45875 dated 30.05.2013) has been done. Taking into account the requirements of the monograph «Honey» of the SPhU 2.0 and the project of the monograph «Powdered honey» for the first time the specification U 10.8-39834691-001:2015 «Powdered honey» (conclusion of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Expertise № 05.03.02-06/33770 dated 29.07.2015) was developed and implemented from 11.11.2015. In «Lekhim-Kharkov» JSC the specifications SPF М-4.1/О dated 01.02.2011 «Natural powdered honey» and SPF М-4.1/О dated 01.02.2016 «Powdered honey» were developed and implemented.
The manufacturing technology of the standardized substance of the propolis phenolic hydrophobic drug (PPHD) has been improved. Using the substance of powdered honey and the standardized substance of PPHD a number of drugs in hard, soft and aerosol dosage forms has been developed for complex use in sports medicine and extreme conditions.

- ТУ У 10.8-38495049-003:2014 «Добавки дієтичні «Таблетки для жування кальцію глюконату з фруктовим смаком» (Висновок Державної санітарно-епідеміологічної експертизи № 05.03.02-06/33306 від 19.05.2014 р.);
- ТУ У 10.8-36458995-002:2015 «Добавка дієтична «RELAX-V» («РЕЛАКС-В») Таблетки для розсмоктування» (Висновок Державної санітарно-епідеміологічної експертизи № 05.03.02-04/4309 від 09.02.2015 р.).
- Розроблено та затверджено в умовах ТОВ «АПІТЕК-А» ТУ У 10.8-39834691-002:2016 на добавку дієтичну з продуктів бджільництва в капсулах «Апі-Імуно-Віт» (Автори: Тихонов О.І., Шпичак О.С., Кудрик Б.Т.). Науковий звіт санітарно-епідеміологічної оцінки Державної установи «Інститут громадського здоров’я ім. О.М. Марзєєва НАМН України» № 8.1-2343 від 18.08.2016 р. (договір № 2425 від 02.08.2016 р.).
PUBLISHING ACTIVITIES
He is the author of more than 250 scientific papers (as of 01.02.17), among them there is 1 text-book, 10 methodological recommendations, 13 practical courses and manuals, 2 monographs, 3 articles in the Pharmaceutical encyclopedia; the author of more than 100 articles in professional Ukrainian and foreign scientific journals and 120 abstracts, 12 patents, 5 certificates of authorship, 2 information letter.

PUBLIC ACTIVITY:
From 2006 to 2011 he worked as a scientific secretary of the Technological Commission of the NUPh at the State Inspectorate for Quality Control of Medicines of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
From 2013 to the present day – a scientific secretary of the Public organization «Ukrainian Association of apitherapists».
Shpychak O. S. actively participates in international and national congresses, conferences, seminars and cultural events of the NUPh and Kharkiv.
