Regarding the new academic year in higher education institutions of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine
The 2024-2025 academic year at the National University of Pharmacy will begin on September 1, 2024. The relevant decision was taken at the meeting of the Council of Rectors of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, which took place on April 24, 2024.
Considering the acute situation in the energy sector, which has developed due to the strikes of the Russian Federation on critical infrastructure, it is important to find solutions that would take these factors into account and at the same time ensure the proper quality of the educational process. Therefore, to optimize the educational process, it is planned to consolidate the study schedule, extend the winter vacation, extend the educational process until the end of July 2025, and use Saturdays as working days (if necessary).
Institutions of higher education that belong to the sphere of administration of the Ministry of Health not only provide theoretical training for students but also ensure that they acquire practical (clinical) skills on the basis of medical institutions, which, like the entire country, currently work in difficult energy conditions. Optimization of educational programs will reduce the number of school days in the winter period and will reduce the load on the energy system.
Currently, the educational process is being considered in both traditional (offline) and mixed (offline-online) formats. This will make it possible not to interrupt studies in conditions of energy instability.
Decisions regarding the training format will be made taking into account the energy supply and the current situation in the country.
Institutions of higher education, which belong to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Health, are prepared for the passage of the new autumn-winter period, taking into account the possibilities of a flexible schedule of the educational process and the involvement of alternative energy sources.
