On February 11 - 28, 2018, at the invitation of the Lithuanian Pharmaceutical Association, the Dean of the qualification improvement department of the Institute of Pharmacy Professionals Qualification Improvement of the National University of Pharmacy, Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Associate Professor Velykyi Dmytro Lvovych visited the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (Kaunas, Lithuania).

The purpose of this business trip: acquaintance with the postgraduate education experience of the pharmaceutical industry specialists accumulated by the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, with the experience of professional associations of the Republic of Lithuania (Vilnius).

On February 15, 2018, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Practice of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Lebanese University (Beirut) Prof. HUSSEIN KANAAN, graduate of the National University of Pharmacy, presented the results of his 10-year research in the field of seaweeds of the Lebanese coast at the Department of Pharmacognosy of the NUPh.

On January 24th, 2018 at NUPh the first show-lecture "Benefit of a Medicine" was held.

The project was held under the patronage of the NUPh rector prof. A.A. Kotvitska. This is the first and special project, a kind of pedagogical experiment, which aims at introducing principles of drugs creating to the first-year students, so that later, mastering the discipline, they will understand orientation of the material outlined.
