Project for managers of higher education THEA Ukraine X

The contest is addressed to higher education managers working in Ukrainian universities (for example, in international offices, quality departments, etc.) who are interested in promoting their educational institution by offering multiple trainings on the internationalization and management of higher education, reconstruction and restoration of Ukrainian universities, work in displaced and frontline universities. Selected participants will be invited to Münster, Germany, for a seminar at the end of March 2024, where training will take place together with German and Ukrainian experts in the field of higher education.

Summer internship in Slovakia

As part of the National Scholarship Program to support the mobility of foreign students, doctoral students, teachers of higher education institutions, researchers and artists, a new call for applications for scholarships for study, research, art and lecture internships in Slovakia during the summer semester of the 2023/2024 academic year has been announced.

FULBRIGHT RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The Fulbright office in Ukraine continues its activities and begins a new competition cycle for 2024-2025.

We invite teachers, graduate students, employees to participate in the Fulbright program for young researchers and teachers Fulbright Research and Development Program (FRDP).

FULBRIGHT RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM:

 Conducting research at US universities lasting from six to nine months.

Persons under the age of 45 with two years of professional experience can participate in the competition: teachers; graduate students and researchers who do not yet have a scientific degree; candidates of sciences; administrators of higher educational institutions; employees of research institutions; journalists; specialists in library, museum and archival matters; specialists in the field of culture management; employees of public organizations.

Fields of specialization: humanitarian, social, exact, technical and natural disciplines.

International Contest «Future Designer International Innovation Design Awards & Science for SDGs Innovation Contest»  

The purpose of this competition is to promote innovative projects and proposals from talented young people from all over the world. The focus is on supporting and raising awareness of the importance of science in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for building more just and sustainable societies. This project is part of UNESCO’s efforts to build capacity in the field of basic sciences and engineering.

 GMAF (The Global MIT At-Risk Fellows) Program of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA)

The GMAF program is designed to enhance the educational and research experience of university faculty and researchers by exposing them to MIT campus methods and strategies in their fields of expertise. This pilot program is for Ukrainian scientists who currently work or have recently worked in Ukrainian universities or institutes of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Applicants may currently reside in Ukraine (with the right to leave the country) or reside outside the country after a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

MIT covers expenses related to the GMAF fellowship, including travel, visas, and study materials, in addition to the general scholarhsip. Fellows’ local universities or institutes will commit to providing leave during the GMAF program.

Period of stay: February 2024 – May 2024

Number of scholarships: 5

Summer School ‘The European Union, the United Nations and Global Governance’ (June 12-23, 2023)

We invite you to participate in the summer school ‘The European Union, the United Nations and Global Governance’, which will be held on June 12-23, 2023 within the framework of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet project in The Hague and Brussels. The European Union Summer School offers a series of lectures and seminars that will introduce students to the inner world of these two institutions and the interaction between them. The Summer School focuses on graduate and postgraduate students to provide advanced exchanges and active interaction between students and faculty. In exceptional cases, the school will consider applications from undergraduate students based on excellent academic performance.

What: The Summer School ‘The European Union, the United Nations and Global Governance’.

Open PhD vacancies at Saarland University (Saarbrücken, Germany)

Saarland University in Germany currently has 15 available positions in the TALENTS (Training ALLiancE for Novel microbiome modulating TherapieS) postgraduate program. This is a fully funded 3-year position within the framework of the EU-COFUND project.
