Dear colleagues, dear pharmaceutical community!
This year, we have the solemn date – the 25th anniversary of the establishment of our professional holiday, the Day of the Pharmaceutical Worker of Ukraine. It is celebrated in the conditions of a full-scale Russian invasion, which continues from 2022. The border turned into a front. Ukraine suffers from daily shelling, but Ukrainians resist the enemy and defend their country.
We do not forget our own traditions, but in this reality we celebrate our holidays on the front lines. Pharmacists have a pharmaceutical front, which we must maintain, providing medicines to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the population of the country in every region, despite the modern challenges. Our pharmaceutical front covers all links: from the training of pharmaceutical personnel, the development of industrial pharmaceutical production, distribution and retail to the full operation of control and analytical institutions, military pharmacy, specialized mass media, the provision of pharmaceutical assistance in de-occupied territories, support of the volunteer movement, humanitarian aid, and continuation of social programs.
Although the profession of a pharmacist is peaceful, our pharmacists proved to be real heroes. Therefore, on the Day of the Pharmaceutical Worker of Ukraine, we have an opportunity to thank every pharmacist, every operator of the pharmaceutical market, every volunteer of the pharmaceutical front for their steadfastness and loyalty to the profession.
