On December 15, 2022, the Department of Fundamental and Language Training of the National University of Pharmacy held the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Internet Conference “APPLICATION OF INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES AND TEACHING METHODS IN TEACHING LANGUAGE DISCIPLINES IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS”.
Among the participants were teachers from Lutsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Lviv and Kharkiv.
The problems and prospects of distance learning in Ukraine, the specifics of teaching language disciplines in universities, the problem of gamification of the educational space were discussed.
The teachers of the Department shared with their colleagues their practical experience of working with the MOODLE platform, the online service “LearningApps.org”, as well as presented their achievements in creating various tests, video scrabbles, intelligence maps drawn using the XMind program.
Summing up the results of the conference, the participants came to a common conclusion that the creation of methodologically sound, informationally interesting, visually pleasing distance courses provides an opportunity to motivate students to study both Ukrainian and foreign languages in the conditions of war.
