On February 14, 2025, with the support of Kharkiv City Mayor Igor TEREKHOV, the Department of Family, Youth and Sports of the Kharkiv City Council held a career guidance event Women in Science. The aim of the event was to popularize Ukrainian science and encourage schoolchildren to study at higher education institutions in Kharkiv.
At the event, as part of the STEM exhibition, 22 higher education institutions and research institutes of Kharkiv were presented, in which female scientists from Kharkiv work in the fields of biotechnology, IT industry, economics, chemistry, physics, pharmacy, medicine and military affairs.
The National University of Pharmacy was represented by the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Professor Inna VLADYMYROVA, Professor of the Department of Industrial Technology of Medicines and Cosmetics Oleksandr KUKHTENKO, Associate Professor of the same department Dmytro SOLDATOV, Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee of the National University of Pharmacy Oleg KRYSKIV and Head of the Student Scientific Society of the National University of Pharmacy Yevgenia KOMISSAROVA. The University presented its achievements within the thematic sports and health section. Master classes were presented on determining the quality indicators of tablets and manufacturing capsules. Participants of the interactive What Your Blood Will Tell You learned how to decipher blood test indicators that determine the health status of our body.
More than 40 women scientists received awards from the Kharkiv City Mayor Igor TEREKHOV for their outstanding contribution to the development of science and education. The National University of Pharmacy congratulates Lyubov GALUZYNSKA, Associate Professor of the Department of Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics, Microbiology And Biological Chemistry, and Polina PALYVODA, Assistant Professor of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Standardization and Certification of Medicines, Institute for Advanced Training, NUPh, who received this award.
