The Day of Unity of Educators, Scientists and Doctors was initiated by the National University of Pharmacy and partners on May 10, 2024.The National University of Pharmacy has become a connecting link of science, practical medicine and pharmacy.
A step towards the continuation of successful cooperation with institutions of secondary education was the scientific and practical seminar ‘Scientific and practical support during performing the works of the SAS in the medical and biological direction’ for biology teachers of the Saltiv district of Kharkiv.
Implementation of the approach of interaction and unification of theory with practice in medicine and pharmacy is possible thanks to the partners of NUPh, representatives of the pharmaceutical and medical-pharmaceutical business, and thanks to long-term cooperation with the Loritom medical and diagnostic center, which is a practice base for students of our university .
During the event, the participants had a unique opportunity to go through the ‘Express CHECK UP of health’, which was organized by the Department of Normal and Pathological Physiology of NUPh.
As part of the meeting, the medical center presented a special gift to the NUPh. It was an Olive Ivy tree as a symbol of the partnership of education and practice for the health of the nation.
It is worth noting that the olive tree is a symbol of health, longevity, rebirth, immortality, vitality, abundance, fertility, and beauty. It can grow for thousands of years and bear fruit for hundreds of years in a row. The olive branch has always been considered a symbol of peace, to which we all strive.
The Olive Ivy tree will be planted in the Pharmaceutical Garden of the NUPh, where we will certainly plan a meeting with our partners under the peaceful sky of Kharkiv.
