On May 16, representatives of the National University of Pharmacy took part in the tripartite conference ‘Business and education in the pharmaceutical industry. A recipe for effective cooperation’, which was organized and held by one of the leading pharmaceutical enterprises of Ukraine – Arterium Corporation, Kyiv.
From our University, the following participated in the conference: prof. Oleksandr Kukhtenko, students Yehor Chufytskyi (Head of student self-government) and Viktoriya Vasylchenko.
The conference brought together the pharmaceutical business, educators and students in search of new ideas for the promotion and development of the pharmaceutical industry. The common path of practice and theory, the latest technologies and classic approaches to the production and development of medicinal products – all this is inextricably linked to the need for closer cooperation between education and business.
Involvement of young people in pharmacy, new projects from businesses and educators, exchange of experience regarding participation in grant programs and internships – all this provides an opportunity to develop the pharmaceutical industry, increase the motivation of young people, and improve the market of domestically produced medicinal products.
Yehor Chufytskyi and Victoria Vasylchenko took an active part in discussing the main aspects of the conference.
Victoria, as the Head of the sector of scientific and intellectual activity of the student self-government of the University, organizer of events and copywriter of the biological community PROFAZA of the youth public organization UkrTeenScience, was invited to the panel discussion ‘Problems of modern pharmaceutical education and ways to improve it.
