On November 19-21, 2024, the British charitable organization UK-MED held a series of training courses on first aid in case of injury for scientific and pedagogical staff, employees of the National University of Pharmacy, the Institute of Advanced Training of the Specialists of the National University of Pharmacy and the Professional College of the National University of Pharmacy.
The training consisted of an interactive theoretical part and practical exercises and focused on raising awareness, providing theoretical and practical training on personal safety, stopping massive bleeding, managing the airway and breathing, blood circulation, providing assistance in case of hypothermia, as well as on the use of improvised means from household items to provide assistance in case of injuries sustained as a result of explosions, rocket or artillery shelling and other traumatic incidents.
The participants highly appreciated the level of training, the usefulness of the acquired skills, the practicality and relevance of each proposed exercise.
