On October 25, three second-year students of the Foreign Citizens Training Faculty – Suhail El Kaun, Kankolongo Kabeya Jan Jacues and Shraibi Adil (from Morocco and Congo), who are mastering the Ukrainian language at the Fundamental and Language Training Department, visited the Ukrainian Radio Kharkiv where they took part in the recording of the project “In Ukrainian Freely”.
These students are entrants from the first set of foreigners which have started studying in the Ukrainian language.
During the interview, the students said that at first, it had been difficult to learn Ukrainian, they had to use a dictionary constantly and had asked teachers to help them. And now, they communicate freely with Ukrainian peers, study all professional subjects in Ukrainian, read books and listen to the Ukrainian music with pleasure.
Oleksandra Netetska, the journalist, who had interviewed the boys, noted the high level of proficiency in the Ukrainian language and the awareness of the applicants for higher education.
