UDС 616-005.4: 615.217.34:547.756 THE INFLUENCE OF SPIROCYCLIC OXINDOLIC DERIVATIVE ON CEREBRAL ENERGY METABOLISM IN THE CONDITIONS OF HYPOXIC AND NONHYPOXIC PATHOLOGY N.A.Tsubanova, S.Yu.Shtrygol, T.V.Gorbach

This article presents the results of the influence of the spirocyclic oxindolic derivative in the dose of 5 mg/kg on the cerebral energy metabolism of experimental pathology with hypoxic and nonhypoxic genesis. It has been found that a new compound prevents the development of energy deficiency against the background of both model pathologies. The compound 77 increases the level of ATP, reduces accumulation of ADP, normalizes the activity of enzymes of the respiratory chain. Recovery of energy deficiency state when introducing the spirocyclic oxindolic derivative does not depend on genesis of pathology. By its influence on the indices of energy exchange the compound studied exceeds significantly the activity of the reference medicine Mexidole in the dose of 100 mg/kg. The results obtained testify the expediency of further pharmacological study of a new substance with the purpose of developing а new antihypoxic drug with the metabolic action.

Key words: spirocyclic oxindolic derivative, energy metabolism
