From 1st till 8th March,2012 in academic groups of students of the pre-university department the series of lectures on the theme „My dearest person – mother!” have been organized.
Foreign students got acquainted with traditions of paying respect to mother in Ukrainian culture.
University lecturers have used as visual teaching aids “rushnyk”, “karavay and salt”. The famous Ukrainian song „About rushnyk” written by А. Маlyshko was a musical accompaniment.
During lectures students were able to talk about customs and habits of their nations regarding to paying respectfulness towards family members, towards mother. They have been talking about their mothers, inner nature, hobbies, and have shown pictures of their families.
