The camp works for high school pupils and gathers school pupils together for the third time. Pupils of 9-11 grades have an opportunity to discover the world of pharmacy, find their own calling and see the special features of training at the National University of Pharmacy.
On March 27, Department of Biological Chemistry and Department of Biology pf the NUPh hospitably opened their doors to the project participants. High school pupils of the Kharkiv Secondary General Schools № 17, № 42, № 51, № 144, № 149, the Kharkiv gymnasium № 116 and Zachepylivka Secondary General School visited the laboratory class on topic «Fats, proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins as food components, their importance for the body», conducted by the Head of Department of Biological Chemistry Professor A.L. Zahaiko, and laboratory class on topic «Genetic analysis of a human – impossible is nothing!», conducted by Associate Professor of the Department of Biology O.V. Tkachev.
On March 28, our University, including the Department of Nutriciology and Pharmaceutical Bromatology, and the Department of Industrial Technology of Drugs, was visited by pupils of the Secondary General Schools № 17, № 19, № 51, № 49, № 39, the Kharkiv lyceums № 54, № 133, the Kharkiv gymnasium № 129 and Zachepylivka Secondary General School. Prospective students had an excursion at the Museum of History of the NUPh and after that attended the laboratory class on topic «Food additives, E-numbers. Evaluation of food products by their chemical composition», conducted by Associate Professor of the Department of Nutriciology and Pharmaceutical Bromatology H.P. Kazakov, and the laboratory class on topic «Creating tablets of the future with your own hands», which was held by Associate Professor of the Department of Industrial Technology of Drugs V.I. Hritsenko.
