On May 11-12, 2023, the planned Supervisory Audit of the Integrated Management System (IMS) took place at the National University of Pharmacy, in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 Standard

ISO 9001: 2015 CERTIFICATION – GUARANTEE OF NUPh QUALITY

The planned Supervisory Audit of the IMS of the NUPh took place online. Representatives of the International Quality Center PRYROST LLC (chief auditor Vitaliy M. Sheruda and auditor Liana F. Shapran) carried out the inspection.

An introductory meeting of the heads of all IMS processes was held. The vice-rector of the NUPh Andriy I. Fedosov emphasized the importance and relevance of the ISO 9001:2015 Standard and the main measures taken by the University team to fulfill its requirements. The vice-rector also analyzed the University’s Integrated Management System from the management’s point of view, noted the changes in external and internal factors related to the main activities of the National University of Pharmacy. Andriy I. Fedosov focused on the development of the Strategic Plan of NUPh for 2023-2025 using the SWOT analysis method, in which strengths and weaknesses were identified.

The auditors analyzed 15 processes of the IMS of the NUPh, regulated by the relevant documented procedures, as well as numerous documents describing the activities at the level of individual operations of these processes. The Integrated Management System currently covers all key activities of the University –from methodological support, planning of educational activities, work of the admissions committee, administrative and economic activities to internal audits, interaction with employers, document management, etc.

During the final meeting, the chief auditor of the certification body, Vitaliy M. Sheruda, noted that the University’s leadership clearly demonstrates implementation of its obligations to support the functioning of the IMS. The auditors emphasized that they received evidence of effective actions taken by the University to transition to distance learning technologies during the period of martial law in the country.

There were no non-compliances with the established audit criteria.

According to the results of the Supervisory Audit, the audit group CONFIRMED the validity of the Certificate with the expansion of the IMS to comply with the International Standard ISO 9001: 2015.
