Visit to JSC Farmak
Every time we visit our friends and partners at JSC Farmak, we enjoy the beauty and grandeur of this leading pharmaceutical enterprise of Ukraine.
On November 28, students of the educational programs ‘Technology of Pharmaceuticals’, ‘Pharmacy’ and ‘Biotechnology’ visited the production sites and laboratories of JSC Farmak (Kyiv).
Students had the opportunity to improve their knowledge of pharmaceutical development and technology, to familiarize themselves with all stages of the life cycle of medicinal products under production conditions.
Today, more and more graduates of our University connect their future with the pharmaceutical industry: they develop medicines, dietary supplements, cosmetic and veterinary products; work in laboratories and production areas of enterprises; deal with regulatory documentation, quality control of finished products, etc. Therefore, it is very important for students to gain practical experience at enterprises that follow the European quality standards!
Analytical laboratory, production sites of the enterprise, presented equipment, stories of the company’s employees about their work, answers to the questions of students and employees of the NUPh (and there were many questions) – all this made it possible to get significant practical and theoretical experience for students!
JSC Farmak and the Department of Technologies of Pharmaceutical Preparations of the NUPh organized the excursion. The Department of Biotechnology and the Industrial Technology of Drugs actively participated in the formation of the excursion group.
